By virtue of the Law on Trademarks, licence means a permission of the owner of a trademark (licencor) granted to another person (licencee) to use the trademark under the terms and conditions stipulated in the licence agreement.
A trademark licence may be granted for some or all goods and/or services for which the trademark is registered and for the whole or part of the territory of Lithuania. Moreover, a trademark licence may either be exclusive or non-exclusive.
