In March of 2012, Turkish Competition Authority (TCA) has released the fourth of its Competition Letters, which were being published since 2009. "The idea of a Competition Letter" aroused as a new tool of competition advocacy in 2009 in particular to promote competition culture among government offices and civil society. Competition letters, with a different theme selected for each year, are normally announced through the website of the TCA. In addition, they are submitted to government offices, members of Parliament, appellate courts, regulatory authorities, local administrations, universities, bar councils, consumer associations, trade unions and other non-governmental organizations.
