4.1 Scope of Protection
The exclusive rights conferred on the owner of a registered trademark by the Trademark Act correspond to Art 9 CTMR and Art 5 EC TM Directive. Besides using his trademark on his own, the trademark owner is entitled to prohibit third parties to use in the course of trade, without his consent (see below for further details):
