3.1 Owner
Art 6 Trademark Act provides who can be the owner of a trademark. Pursuant to the stated provision any natural person or legal entity, including foreigners, or groups of natural persons and/or legal entities jointly, including foreign or mixed, can be the owners of a trademark. The ownership of a trademark is confirmed by the trademark registration certificate (certificatul de inregistrare a marcii).
