2.1 Registered signs
Pursuant to art 5 of the Law on Trademarks and art 114 para 1 of the Rules on the Registration of Trademarks, a trademark may consist of any signs capable of being represented graphically, particularly, words, personal names and surnames, artistic pseudonyms, company names, slogans, letters, numerals, the shape of goods or their packaging or containers, drawings, emblems, colours or combinations of colours or their compositions, or any combination of the aforementioned signs. Sounds or scents may also be registered as trademarks if they are capable of being represented graphically.
