8. Assignment

The proprietorship interest in a registered trademark may be transferred by an assignment, the laws of inheritance, or operation of law in the same way as any other personal property. The proprietorship interest of a registered trademark may also be transmitted either in connection with the goodwill of a business or independently.⁷⁸⁷⁸Law (No. 02/L-54) on trademarks, Article 27.

An assignment or other transfer of a registered trademark may be either partial or in whole. A transfer may be partial if it transfers the right:⁷⁹⁷⁹Law (No. 02/L-54) on trademarks, Article 27.
