3.1 Owner
The law distinguishes between individual and collective trademarks. The owner of an individual trademark may be a natural person or a legal entity, incl. the state, an organisational unit of a state (ministries), municipalities, communities and foundations. Individual trademarks may be the subject of joint ownership and in such a case rules on joint ownership stipulated in the Civil Code fully apply.
