10.1 Patent Office
According to Art 3 of the Trademark and Geographical Indications Act, any local person may act before the Patent Office either in person or through a local industrial property representative permitted to represent clients in trade mark and design matters. Persons not having their permanent residence or registered address in the Republic of Bulgaria shall be required to act before the Patent Office in filings, oppositions or cancellation proceedings through a local industrial property representative.
