Foreign companies may establish branch offices in Serbia. Under Serbian law, a branch office of a foreign company is a legally dependent organizational part of the foreign company in question that pursues, on a permanent basis, all the activities for which the foreign company is registered in the country of its origin. A branch office has no separate legal personality and thus it operates in the name and on behalf of its founder.
