3. Cross-border merger under the Companies' Act amendments coming into force when Croatia joins the European Union

​​3.1 Legal basis

Once Croatia joins the European Union, the coming into force of the provisions of the Companies Act dealing specifically with cross-border mergers will allow for cross-border mergers to be pursued on a reliable basis.
