A client is a client is a client ... as the saying goes. Nothing is more important to the lawyer than to keep his or her customers happy – except, of course, to stay “on the right side of the law" him- or herself, health, happiness etc. The importance of the client-lawyer relationship needs to be kept in mind at all times and so does the independence and impeccable character of the practicing lawyer. A solid law practice relies on good and healthy economic virtues and sound principles. Therefore lawyers’ billing rules need to be recognized, respected and kept.
