Registered trademarks may be assigned to other persons with or without transfer of business.
A trademark right is alienable and inheritable and it may be transferred with respect to certain goods for which it was granted provided that the goods for which the mark is registered in favour of the seller are not of the same kind. Upon the transfer, the right is deemed to be independent of the right of the seller.
