3.1 Owner
An exclusive right to an individual trademark may be granted to a natural person, legal entity or State Treasury, but it may not be granted to organisational units which do not enjoy the status of a legal entity. Partnerships (organisational units which do not enjoy the status of a legal entity) can only acquire trademark rights through use, but not by registration with the Patent Office.
