On February 17th, 2023, Alexander Rust celebrates his fiftieth birthday. On behalf of all the staff at the Institute of Austrian and International Tax Law at the Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU), we would like to congratulate our academic colleague and friend on his anniversary with a special issue that contains seven articles dealing with methodological questions as well as current developments in international tax policy and European tax law.
