I. Introduction
Antitrust law in the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia was adopted in 1996, but its implementation started in 1999. Competition Commission, body within a Federal Ministry of Internal Trade, was in charge for supervision of the implementation of this law, in the period from 1999 to 2003. When the Constitutional Charter of the State Union Serbia and Montenegro entered into force, Montenegro formally continued to apply the law, but without monitoring its implementation.
