Do we need banks and bankers? - The opinion of a French expert

The well-known American industrialist Bill Gates recently raised the attention of banks worldwide with the assertion: "We need banking, not banks". The banking industry cannot be indifferent to such an opinion. In a time when our world is experiencing numerous changes in the areas of technology, economy, society and international relations, bankers cannot pretend that nothing changes for them. On the contrary, it is time to pose some fundamental questions with respect to the banking industry, the development of customer demand and the best way to respond thereto.
