The honour has been bestowed upon me to open this year’s 50th Copyright Workshop (Arbeitskreis Urheberrecht) organized by AKM. As I prepared for this keynote speech, I had the opportunity as a courtesy of AKM to study all the 50 invitations to the workshop meetings, including the agendas. I am going to recall the most significant topics dealt with at the workshop meetings to show that the agendas reflect everything that has happened in Austrian and European Copyright law, including in the international instruments, during this 50 years.
