For the purposes of this Part it is immaterial whether the law that (apart from this Act) governs an arrangement or transaction is the law of the United Kingdom, or a part of it, or not.
Sec 259 hat klarstellende Funktion und macht deutlich, dass die im Companies Act enthaltenen Bestimmungen auch auf Verträge, Geschäfte und Transaktionen nach anderen Rechtsordnungen anwendbar sind.
