Registered trademarks can be subject of a pledge which may be registered with OSIM in the Trademark Register. The surrender declaration of the owner of a trademark which is subject to a pledge, cannot be registered in the Trademark Register. However, the trademark pledge need not necessarily be recorded with OSIM. The publicity of the pledge shall be complied with upon the registration of the trademark pledge in the Electronic Archive of Security Interests.
