5.1 Opposition
According to the latest modifications of the Romanian Trademark Act, opposition proceedings can be initiated by any concerned person only for relative grounds of refusal (cf section 3.6 above). An opposition against a trademark registration shall be filed within two Seite 427months as of the date of publication of the trademark application. Oppositions shall be filed in writing, motivated and accompanied by payment of the legal fee. Where the prescribed opposition fees have not been paid, the opposition shall be deemed not to have been filed.
