3. Registration of Trademarks

​​3.1 Owner

The owner of a trademark may be a natural person, a legal person or an undertaking that is not a legal person if it has the legal capacity to acquire rights and incur liabilities.²⁵²⁵Law (No. 02/L-54) on trademarks, Article 8.

Every natural person can be owner of a trademark, but only persons over 18 have full contractual capacity.
