Under a trademark licence agreement, the holder of a trademark licences the right to use this trademark and the licencee is usually required to pay royalties, even though this is not mandatory. The parties are free to determine the content of the licence agreement. However, if the fulfillment of the licence agreement is likely to mislead the public, the agreement is considered to be null and void.
