A trademark may be licensed for some or all of the goods or services for which it was registered. A licence may be exclusive or non-exclusive. The licence agreement shall be in writing and signed by both parties. APTO refuses registration of a licence if it is not submitted together with the required documentation within a designated period of time. A licence contract does not have any legal effects if it is not registered with APTO.
