In Slovenia, Art. 16 of the Directive has been implemented by the Act Regulating Employees' Participation in Decision-Making in Cross-Border Mergers of Corporations (the Cross-border Employee Participation Act).
The Cross-border Employee Participation Act applies to:
a company with its seat in Slovenia, emerging from a cross-border merger;
